JBT Expands Global Presence, Acquires D&M Plastics, Now JBT USA

JBT Group recently completed a strategic acquisition of D&M Plastics Inc., a company based in Burlington, Illinois. This acquisition solidifies JBT Group’s standing as a key player in the healthcare and medical device sectors on the global stage.

Since 1972, D&M Plastics, LLC has established itself as a leading player in the field of plastic injection molding. The company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications, with a significant presence in the healthcare sector, generating over 80% of its revenue there. JBT’s strategic investment will expand the company’s production space, which currently stands at over 5,000 square meters, improving its operational capacity and supporting the continued growth of its business. JBT Group specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-precision injection-molded plastic parts for the healthcare industry. The company’s integrated value chain – from mold manufacturing to final assembly – ensures operational excellence and strict compliance with the most demanding quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
